The Rose Light Foundation Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting families in Jamaica who are facing hardship. We provide comfort, essential supplies, and a sense of hope to those affected by natural disasters, economic challenges, and difficult life circumstances.

Our mission is simple yet powerful — to be a light in times of darkness. Through community-driven initiatives and donations, we provide the essentials families need to rebuild their lives with dignity, comfort, and renewed hope.

Inspired by the compassion and selflessness of our grandmother, Rose Campbell, we strive to continue her legacy by showing care, empathy, and unwavering love to those who need it most.

The Story of Rose Campbell

The Rose Light Foundation was created in loving memory of our grandmother, Rose Campbell — a woman whose heart, faith, and generosity touched everyone she met.

Affectionately known throughout Aenon Town, Jamaica as “Mother” or “Mother Mac,” she was truly a mother to all — young and old alike. Mother Rose was the center of our family and a pillar of her beloved community. She was known for her warmth, wisdom, and selfless spirit.

As the post mistress of Aenon Town, she was a trusted figure — a familiar face who greeted everyone with kindness and care. A devoted member and organist at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, she filled the sanctuary with hymns and hope, using her music to lift spirits and bring people together.

Her home was always open, her table always full, and her love always abundant. Everyone in the community was taken care of by Mother Rose — no child went to school without, and no child or adult ever went hungry. Even with little, she gave much — a true reflection of grace, generosity, and resilience.

After her passing, our family felt called to honor her legacy by carrying her light into the world. The Foundation was born from that love — to continue the work she started, helping others in their moments of need.

Every act of kindness, every family supported, and every smile restored is a reflection of her enduring light — a reminder that her legacy lives on and shines ever brighter through the Rose Light Foundation.
